I enjoyed making this portfolio because it made me remember how much work I put in on this class. I chose a Portfolio layout where I could organize everything and make it look good. Orlando Mena Self Portrait Artist Statement           In this task, I took a photo of myself and I needed to reproduce it by utilizing the brush device to fundamentally draw myself. Orlando Mena  Mission Statement    For this task, we needed to make three distinct business cards. As somebody that is a business venture significant I truly appreciated making this project. In the first business card, I attempted to do my own variant of what the teacher introduced us to.  Orlando Mena Artist Statement            On this assignment, I had to take a picture of myself and color the background with different colors. I don't have pictures of myself, meaning I had to get creative and look around where I could take a picture with a good background. I found a spot beside the bride on the riverwalk which I really liked and took the picture. Then I used photoshop to edit the picture and make it different colors.                I chose the colors that I wanted for each time that I had to do it and started playing with the pictures trying to find which colors looked best. I colored the bridge, water, rail, grass, hat, shirt, and sky. When I finished coloring everything I lowered the opacity of the colors to make the picture look better. Overall I think I did well.

Orlando Mena I think it will be difficult to photoshop myself in because there isn't much space were I can fit in. They basically take all the space in the picture making it really difficult to photoshop myself in the picture while making it look good. This gave me the idea of somewhere because I like sports and his randomly in a football field. I played soccer, meaning I can somewhat relate to this photo.    This photo made me life because this is my type of humor. It was very funny how the editor of this photo made what she asked for a joke I just simply didn't expect that. How I think she wanted her butt to be bigger but the editor added a donkey. This illusion I would like to recreate simply because I felt it was very funny. It's something different that you don't expect. It was something you don't see when you are looking in photos on social media. It's funny because I think many people have weird ways on taking photos and this is one of them. 

Logo Tag Brush           I started this assignment by using the logo that I created, which describes me and one of the most important things that describe who I am. I merged the logo I created with the brush that was given by the professor. I was looking for a spray paint image which I really liked and then I just tried different colors until I found the ones that I liked.             Ultimately, I think photoshop is a very cool app/program with cool features like the brush, which is very useful by making the pictures or logos you created better and with the features you desire.   Orlando Mena                My propaganda poster is called "Carpe Diem" which means live in the day. One day I was back home watching boats and one of them was called carpe diem. I was curious because I did not know what it meant. I searched it up on my phone and I found the meaning. This really got to me because sometimes people don't appreciate what they have in their lives and they should enjoy every day of their lives because you never know when something can happen to you.       I chose my design searching on the internet. I found a mosaic piece and then I tried to copy it and make the image in my own way. I picked this image because it had all the requirements this  assignment asked us to have. It may look very simple to do but with all the code and details this image has it was harder than you may think.     Since this image had a lot of details I have to do, and knowing how to place each shape together is actually takes a lot of time for me. What I did is play with the numbers of the code until I got to the place that I wanted. This  project took me about 8 hours to make in total.        My name is Orlando Mena and I am from Puerto Rico, I have only experienced once this class so I don't know much of what to expect. From what I have experienced I liked the class, what it was all about and what it entailed. I consider myself as an outgoing person, that likes to surround himself with positive and fun people. I also consider myself a very athletic and active person.    Like every person, I have experienced my ups and downs. One of the biggest ups that I have experienced is graduating high school and being accepted to a university that I liked. That means that all the hard work that I put in high school paid off. One of the biggest downs that I have experienced is, when covid started, it was very hard to focus on academics. I had too many distractions but I pushed through and ended with good grades.
